Pay Range: $70k - $100k (Actual compensation is commensurate with job related knowledge, skills, experience, etc.)

Overview 

Rubicon is seeking a Partner Manager to join the Smart Cities team. This opening is an opportunity to join Rubicon’s dynamic Smart Cities team as we bring digital operations to waste collection vehicles and other heavy-duty fleets throughout North America. Our suite of software solutions helps local governments and private companies run more efficient, effective, and sustainable operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships that fuel Smart Cities’ revenue growth. As Channel Partner Manager, you will work with the Senior Director to identify and foster the key strategic partnerships of the SaaS business. You will be tasked with identifying and recruiting new partners, building and maintaining relationships with partners, and conducting strategic analysis on an as needed basis.

Our preferred candidate will have demonstrated experience driving revenue growth through direct and indirect sales, managing channel partnerships, leading and supporting strategic initiatives, and establishing and streamlining efficient internal processes. Familiarity with technology partnerships and government sales is a plus. Flexibility, technology-savvy, commercial awareness, and collaborative nature are also important attributes.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership Development:

Identify and establish partnerships with system integrators, value add referral partners, and reseller partners that can help drive both top-of-funnel (awareness) and bottom-of-funnel (conversion) activities for the Smart Cities product. Cultivate strong relationships, articulating Smart Cities value propositions and understanding how partner’s business objectives align with Rubicon’s goals. Represent Rubicon at partner conferences and other industry events to support co-selling and other strategic partner initiatives.

Partner Management:

Build and cultivate strong, long-term relationships with assigned channel partners. Collaborate with partners to develop joint business plans, pipeline generation strategies, and co-marketing initiatives. Provide ongoing support to partners, addressing their needs and challenges to ensure their success. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve assigned revenue targets through the channel partner network. Onboard, train, and enable channel partners on Rubicon's SaaS solutions and sales methodologies.

Performance Tracking & Strategic Analysis:

Support Senior Director of Partnerships and Operations on strategic initiatives including data analysis, ROI generation, and presentations. Manage partnership deliverables including reporting, research requirements, presentation development, and other ad hoc requests Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and optimization in the channel partner program. 

Qualifications

3+ years of experience Proven track record of success in channel sales management, with a focus on partnerships, preferably in the technology, government, or fleet industry.  Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and articulate complex value propositions.  Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships. Data analysis skills with mastery in Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools like Foundry, Power BI, etc. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment. High level of organization and attention to detail. Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint) Willingness to travel as needed
