Position Summary: A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PATIENT CARE ASSISTANT... You arrive each day ready to have a professional working relationship with physicians and patients. Along with assisting in scheduling procedures, appointments, and diagnostic testing, you will also assist with the patient visit by collecting information and ensuring that the physician has the necessary documentation to provide excellent patient care. As a Patient Care Assistant, you love meeting new people and are able to make connections easily and ensure that every patient feels welcome and valued. You will be one of the first interactions patients will have in the organization, making your role as a Patient Care Assistant an important part of the patient care experience. Don’t worry if you don’t have patient care experience. If you come with two or more years of experience in customer service, we’ll train you on everything you need to know to assist our patients and physicians. You take charge of challenging opportunities as they arise and provide excellent service to patients and physicians. You feel good about representing a company with a solid reputation and playing an important part in the success of the patient care experience.

 

Essential Job Functions: Experience in Microsoft Applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel. Ten-key experience and keyboarding skills. Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others. Ability to demonstrate problem-solving, critical thinking and communication skills. Prior healthcare experience would be a definite plus.

 

Qualifications: 2 years of experience in customer service or related role. We will train the right person! Are you a team player with a positive, can-do attitude? Do you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills? Are you self-motivated and able to work independently? Proficiency in other languages a plus but not required.

 

Hours: This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday. When in clinic, hours can run between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Non clinic day hours will vary and can be done 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. ARE YOU READY TO JOIN OUR TEAM AS A PATIENT CARE ASSISTANT?
