Essential Functions: + The Patient Care Technician I could be responsible for greeting and preparing for patients, managing patient flow, completing patient intake into EPIC system, and maintaining exam rooms including cleaning and keeping inventory/ordering supplies. + Administrative responsibilities may include managing phones and scheduling patients when needed, patient registration and check-in/out, handling patient prescriptions and pre-authorization for diagnostic testing as well as directing patients in all phases of their experience with the practice. Minimum Education: + High School Diploma or GED required Relevant Experience: + Two years medical office experience preferred + Experience with an EMR system desired (preferably EPIC)
