Hardware System Engineering develops outstanding board level memory module products using Micron's memory devices.

We are looking for a hard-working Printed Circuit Board (PCB) designer to be part of an industry leading team working on the detailed physical layout of sophisticated PCBs. Cadence Allegro is the primary design tool used in the development of our innovative, high-speed PCB designs. This position is focused on providing PCB designs with the absolute best signal quality and power delivery, establishing design standards and configurations that meet the needs of Micron's pioneering engineering teams.

Responsibilities:Lead all aspects of PCB layout design from requirement definitions to layout completion.Apply extensive PCB design knowledge to tackle sophisticated problems.Serve as a technical authority opening the way to innovative PCB solutions.Use Cadence Allegro and Vsure design tool.Work creatively as part of a design team following plans and project steps.

Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in electrical, electronic or computer engineering.5+ years of experience in PCB manufacturing processes, high speed signal integrity design rules and power distribution.The ability to handle a fast-paced workload and changing priorities.Experience with Cadence Allegro design tool. Vsure would be considered too.Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.CID+ IPC certification would be a plus.
