We are looking for a pediatric hospitalist to join our team at a community hospital in Fairbanks, Alaska. Wait…keep reading! We are a supportive, tight-knit group of pediatricians with a collaborative, “we’ve got your back” approach. We’re seeking the right fit to help care for the infants and children who need hospital services in our community.
BC/BE in general pediatrics plus PALS/NRP neededApproximately 1100 deliveries/year with peds in attendance at high-risk deliveries24/7 in-house coverage divided amongst our team in 12/24 hours shifts with flexibility in schedulingHospital areas covered: Newborn Nursery, Level 2 NICU, High risk deliveries, Pediatrics, ED/Surgery consults, Stabilization of critically ill infants/children prior to transportAttending Physician for intermittent rotating pediatric residents and medical students

QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of an approved school of medicine with licensure in state where he/she practices.
Board Eligible/Board Certified by appropriate certifying board. Current DEA number.
Must apply for and maintain Medical Staff membership and clinical privileges at appropriate facilities if required by Physician’s employment agreement. Requires commitment to healthcare and concern for people in distress, critical listening skills and ability to communicate clearly, desire to work with all types of people and work as a team member and excellent interpersonal skills. Able to meet desired business outcomes while maintaining quality of care. Must be willing to update skills constantly.

Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
