100% FTE, 40 hours/week. 8-hour day shifts scheduled Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of department.

We are seeking a Pedorthist to:

Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to determine optimal treatment plan and selects appropriate foot orthoses and pedorthic footwear in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Design, fabricate, fit and modify foot orthoses and pedorthic footwear.  Work within the context of patient- and family- centered care in a primary and specialty care academic medical center. Seek continual learning opportunities to advance one’s own practice and educate other.

 

Education:

Minimum –

High School Diploma or equivalent Completion of an American Board of Certification accredited Residency.

 

Work Experience:

Minimum –Prior healthcare experience

Preferred –Two (2) years of experience as a Pedorthist.

 

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum – Certification or eligible for certification by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics as a Certified Pedorthist
