**Job Summary:** As the Certified Pedorthist, you will be responsible for provision of professional orthotic treatment for comprehensive patient care to prevent painful and disabling conditions. You will determine treatment plans and select appropriate foot orthoses and pedorthic footwear. You will report to the Manager. **Primary Tasks:** 1. Evaluate patients with physical disabilities, disease, or deformity for appropriate orthotic treatment. 2. Consult with medical staff, residents, therapists, and Orthotists on treatment plans. 3. Maintain supply of orthoses and components and perform inventory tracking. 4. Fit orthoses, UCBLs, shoes, custom shoes, and SMOs. 5. Take appropriate measurements for prefabricated orthotics and custom-made orthoses. 6. Perform fitting and adjustments of prefabricated and custom-made orthotics. 7. Evaluate the function, provide instructions, and follow up on the orthotics dispensed assuring fitting meets the patient required needs. 8. Perform other responsibilities as assigned. **Required Education and Experience:** * High School Diploma or equivalent * Certification by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics as a Certified Pedorthist. * Knowledge of and ability to help evaluate foot orthotics needs on a diverse patient population. * Two [2] years related experience About the Choctaw Nation The Choctaw Nation is the third-largest Indian nation in the United States, with over 200,000 tribal members and more than 11,000 employees.
