PeopleSoft HCM AMS Delivery Manager - Federal

As part of Human Capital as a Service’s “in the service of” philosophy, the role will be responsible for managing day-to-day client delivery needs and expectations.  You will work with our Federal Government clients to support the delivery of PeopleSoft solutions. The right candidate will develop relationships throughout the practice, and with each project team.  You will help generate client impact and market Deloitte services driving customer success.

You will:

Responsible for the client and team management including proactive value creation activitiesResponsible for leading client engagements for PeopleSoft HCM AMS projects and managing the delivery teams on an engagement. Manage a team of individuals who are supporting the various PeopleSoft HCM modulesServe as a resource for the team who may execute individually assigned tasksSupport pre-sales activities, solution design, and project planningResponsible for defining, leading, and developing project tasksContributes to project strategy and deliverable planning, to include the vision and mission, work plans, and staffingRecommends options or solutions that meet a client’s needs and desired functionalitySelects the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirementsLead work streams in a larger program and directing the work of staffArticulates and frames business problems and solutions as appropriate for all client audiencesInvestigates root causes to client and project issues and proposes effective solutionsApplies quality standards to work productsIdentifies and solves problems using analysis, experience, and judgmentDevelops solutions to clients’ problems through application of personal experience and methods and tools; validates solutions with subject matter expertsCommunicates how the engagement impacts risks, business objectives, and quality goals to guide the work of othersAnalyzes work product progress and provides objective reporting of project statusDefines the overall goals of an engagement and communicates goals to and junior staff to guide their project workCommunicates and enhances understanding of complex client issues by more junior staffRecognizes colleagues’ strengths and provides them with ongoing feedback and coachingFacilitates top-down and bottom-up communications and awareness for junior staff and managementPerforms analysis and effective diagnosis of clients’ issuesDevelops and shares reusable assets that can be readily applied to new client projectsUnderstands the benefits of using state of the art methods and tools in their application on a particular engagement; contributes to continuous development of methods and toolsCoordinates activities between work streams and identifies changes in scopeDemonstrates accountability and contributions to the successful realization of client goals and of the CenterAble to adapt and operate effectively in ambiguous or rapidly changing environmentsUnderstands success factors related to geographically diverse teams and applies mitigation strategies

Qualifications

PeopleSoft HCM certificationExperience on at least three full life cycle implementations or supporting AMS engagements with Federal, State or Local Government AgenciesAt least 7 years of strong HR Consulting experience from a leading consulting firm in PeopleSoft HRWe will consider industry hires with no prior consulting experience, but they must possess deep prior PeopleSoft HCM experienceExperience with US Federal HR Connect platform highly desirableExperienced with owning project budget, risk, resources, staffing while also being involved in sales of consulting solutionsMust be hands-on and in the weeds of the project and technology, Not just a PMO RoleSolid verbal and written communication skillsAbility to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. This may include overnight travel.Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experienceMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.Must live in a commutable distance (approximately 100-mile radius) to one of the following Delivery locations: Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Gilbert, AZ; Houston, TX; Lake Mary, FL; Mechanicsburg, PA; Philadelphia, PA with the ability to commute to assigned location for the day, without the need for overnight accommodationsExpectation to co-locate in your designated Delivery location up to 30% of the time based on business needs. This may include a maximum of 10% overnight client/project travel.

Requirements:

At least 1+ years of experience with Oracle HCM Cloud ApplicationsA minimum of 1+ years of experience in consulting and/or in the industry.At least 1 end to end Oracle Cloud implementation.Expertise in 3 or more of the following Oracle Cloud Technical tools - HCM extracts, Transformation Fast Formula for HDL, BI Publisher, Oracle Integrations Cloud. Experience in HR processes, having worked on at least one project in the HR process domain in a technical capacity in any of the following modules is preferred - Core HR, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Absence Management, Learning, Talent Management and Time and LaborStrong Knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle ReportingWrite complex reports/queries utilizing Oracle Cloud HCM reporting tools (OTBI, BIP, FAW).Modify standard and develop custom Oracle HCM reports for ongoing needs.Maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.Troubleshoot the HCM system issues, upgrades, and enhancements. Regularly audit and clean data to ensure accuracy and completeness.Must be able to obtain the required level of security clearance for this role
