The Perinatal Education Instructor is responsible for providing education to childbearing families utilizing evidence-based information which reflects current standards of care and practice. 

 

Responsibilities:

Adapt information and approach to be appropriate to the age of the patients Develop lesson plans. Maintaining knowledge base and providing high quality educational instruction

Requirements:

Current NYS license as a Registered Nurse Certified Childbirth Educator Knowledge of Maternal-Child Nursing re: Prenatal, Intrapartum and Postpartum periods Strong teaching skills Added skills and/or certification in specific area are preferred BLS/AE

The pay for this position is $50.00 per hour.
