Our Opportunity:

We are looking for a Software Engineer II (Plantation, FL) to design and build software components of services and/or platforms.

What You’ll Do: 

Actively participate in the definition, design, development, testing and implementation of software functionality using an agile methodology.Build and modify scalable distributed software systems.Partner with stakeholders and technology teams on how best to implement desired features and enhancements.Ensure that technical solutions follow best practices, are reliable, are easily maintainable and are scalable under sustained load.Participate in design and code reviews.Collaborate to identify, isolate, and resolve malfunctions related to software.Create and evolve system-related documentation.Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to operational excellence.

What You’ll Need:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field and 3 years of experience.Will also accept a Master’s degree and 1 year of experience.Experience must include 1 year with: java development;Developing SOAP / RESTful webservices in Java technology;Scrum/agile with exposure to Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery Tools like Circle CI, Jenkins, Terraform;Object oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis;Test automation and various phases of testing (unit, functional, integration tests);Gather system and user requirements, build Java modules and testing features before release;SQL Server, Postgres SQL or Oracle;JavaScript libraries like Vue or React.The position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.
