The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: + assists the Pharmacist in the support of the drug distribution systems including patient counseling and pharmacokinetic calculations + participates in performance improvement and data collections activities + responsible for dosage preparation, preparation of sterile admixture using aseptic technique, floor stock delivery, pre-packaging, billing, receiving, and stocking + participates in providing pharmaceutical care for the following age groups: neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics + other responsibilities include: inventory control, controlled substances distribution, documentation and accountability, assisting in the inspection of medication storage areas throughout the hospital, and maintaining the cleanliness of the department + all responsibilities are performed under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist according to local board of pharmacy and state regulations + performs other tasks as assigned by the Pharmacist Qualifications Education and Work Experience + current enrollment as a Pharmacy Student + current State Board of Pharmacy Certificate of Pharmacy Intern #LI-MP1 Connect With Us!
