What You Will Do Physical Therapist Assistants play a central role in our facility by working with our Therapy team to utilize their skills and make a difference in patients’ lives. Under the supervision of our Physical Therapists, you provide physical therapy to a wide range of patients and ensure our residents complete their recovery. We’re excited for you to come and join our accomplished staff of medical professionals! Responsibilities Use a range of technique, exercises, activities to strengthen muscles, improve balance, coordination, transfers, and gait. Assist with patient treatments to ensure their progress and improvement Help motivate and assist patients to perform various physical activities, such as non manual exercises, daily living activities Collaborate with Physical Therapists in the delivery of the plan of care May be required to assist with treatments at neighboring facilities based on census. Requirements Must possess current Maryland Physical Therapist Assistant Licensure or eligible for reciprocity.  Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy At least 6 months of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant with caring for patients of varying age groups. Proficient with Rehab Optima and Microsoft Office software
