The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Pawling is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Position can be Full-Time or Per-Diem PTA Duties Include: + Measuring & recording resident motor function, strength & muscle performance. + Assisting physical therapists in developing treatment plans. + Observing residents; writing progress reports. + Evaluating residents' ability to function independently. + Assisting residents with exercises & equipment; treating residents with stretches, massages, etc. + Educating residents on how to exercise properly to strengthen muscle & improve mobility. + Contributing to team effort. Requirements Include: + Graduate of an accredited PTA Program. + Current New York State PTA License. + Experience in LTC is a plus!
