TRIA is seeking full-time CAQ certified sports medicine physicians to join its Orthopedic Urgent Care.   This is a unique opportunity for a sports medicine physician to practice within an Orthopedic Urgent Care (walk-in) and have the ability to provide continuity of care or follow up visits within the walk-in clinic.  Our department started with one location 15 years ago and has grown to 4 locations, soon to be 5 at TRIA Shakopee in October 2024.  Positions available at TRIA Bloomington and TRIA Shakopee. 

 TRIA offers walk-in, orthopedic care 7 days a week to patients with injuries that have immediate need such as a strains, sprains or fractures that involves bones, joints, ligaments or muscles. In this  busy position, you can expect to see the full spectrum of orthopedic injuries and conditions.  CAQ certification required.  Musculoskeletal ultrasound is utilized within the walk-in clinic for guided procedures.   Previous experience in urgent care or emergency medicine is highly desirable.  To accommodate the needs of our patients, evenings and weekend are required.  Two 12 hour weekday shifts per week and one weekend every four weeks Opportunities exist to provide team physician coverage at local high schools or at a Division III college with highly competitive sports programs.

 TRIA, a leader in orthopedic care, provides orthopedic urgent care at four orthopedic urgent care locations located in Bloomington, Maple Grove, Woodbury Burnsville, and Shakopee, beginning in October 2024.  TRIA Orthopedic Center also provides a variety of sub-specialties such as sports medicine, shoulder, knee, spine, upper extremity, foot and ankle, and hip. Their sports medicine specialists have served as official team physicians for Minnesota's pro sports teams for over 20 years.
