Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is one Physician Assistant  to the group at South Brooklyn Health. The Hospital is part of the NYC Health + Hospitals System (NYCHHC). South Brooklyn Health accommodates more than 250,000 outpatient visits, more than 89,000 emergency room visits, and with 371 beds, more than 15,000 inpatient admissions annually. 

Responsibilities

PAGNY is seeking a per diem Physician Assistant  for weekend (Saturday and Sunday) coverage(12 hr shifts) of our Neonatology Division at South Brooklyn Hospital:

Duties Include:

Present along with attending physician for all deliveriesAssist with all neonatal resuscitationsAttend to all well-babies in the mother-baby unitAssist/write notes for evaluations of all neonates for clearance for weekend dischargesProvide additional coverage support to the NICU when needed Qualifications Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant programBLS/ACLS certificationNYS License RequiredNCCPA Certification RequiredLevel II NICU PreferredCultural sensitivity to a diverse and under-served patient populationMust have proven ability to work in a team environmentSalary: $85/hour
