Job Summary

To provide high quality clinical services in cardiovascular medicine at Beaumont Health. Physicians will promote excellence in clinical care and demonstrate stewardship in Beaumont Health's mission, vision and values.

Essential Functions

Ensure that clinical activities are performed in accordance with clinical guidelines, appropriate use criteria and Department policyComplete all clinical documentation in a timely manner consistent with hospital, payor and regulatory requirementsParticipate in required on-call and weekend coverageParticipate in QI/QA and peer review initiativesParticipate in activities related to improving operational and financial performanceParticipate in value based reimbursement programs and quality initiativesAttend Department meetings as required by hospital and Department policyFoster team workServe as an ambassador, promoting continuous improvement, excellence and growthParticipate in Departmental community service and fundraising endeavorsProvide meaningful participation within the affiliated School of Medicine including, but not limited to, teaching and committee serviceDemonstrate proof of ongoing education in the area of expertise, including CME activity, Board certification and other learning endeavorsInterpret diagnostic studies in accordance with institutional guidelines and national standards
