**Location** SD, Sioux Falls **Specialty** Genetics **Visas Accepted** N/A **Practice Details** Sanford Health is seeking a geneticist to serve as the Medical Director for the Imagenetics Initiative. Imagenetics was established in 2014 as a result of a significant gift from philanthropist Denny Sanford. Imagenetics aims to incorporate genetics into primary care. * Applicants with a variety of backgrounds are encouraged to apply, but experience in adult genetics and IM or FM is preferred * Minimum qualifications include MD or DO degree, BC in clinical genetics by the ABMG and five years of clinical experience in genetics * Administrative/leadership experience strongly preferred * This position is a mix of approximately 80% administrative and 20% clinical time (flexible) * Applicants must be well versed and have a willingness to deploy pre-emptive genetic testing and other new and innovative genetic programs. * The initiative includes clinical genetcicists, a molecular pathologist, moleculer laboratory geneticists, pharmacogenomics pharmacists, NPs and genetic counselors * Research and teaching opportunities are available **Compensation Package** Nationally competitive salary with a comprehensive physician benefit package including Paid CME, PTO, Malpractice, Disability, and Relocation Allowance **About this Community** Sioux Falls is one of the fastest growing areas in the Midwest.
