Responsibilities

Oversees location's Process Safety Mechanical Integrity ProgramAssists in the development and review fabrication drawings.Oversees and/or performs new equipment installationsFollow safe working practices and Utilizes hand and portable power tools and follows safe working practices through all steps of equipment fabrication, repair, and maintenance.Coordinates and oversees the movement of materials and equipment as requiredCollaborate on site with execution of Contractor Safety ProgramOther duties as defined

Qualifications

Knowledge of cutting and welding methods, Ability to understand blueprints, and experience with tools and equipment used on the job.Knowledge of high-pressure piping systems.Ability to build equipment and small piping systems.Bachelor of Science strongly preferred; high school diploma/GED required.5 - 10 years of equipment maintenance experience in chemical manufacturing setting preferredKnowledgeable in OSHA Process Safety Management Program elements including Mechanical Integrity, Management of Change, Operating Procedure ElementsAbility to lift up to 50lbsValid welding license

Additional preferred skills

· Knowledge of health and safety guidelines when dealing with dangerous equipment or chemicals· Good numerical and problem-solving skills· Attention to detail.· Strong communication skills· Basis Computer skills - Microsoft applications.
