Power Electronics Engineer
Job Title: Power Electronics EngineerJob Description The Power Electronics Engineer will focus on developing and updating power electronics boards and circuits for electromechanical drives, including BLDC motors and actuators, as well as power conversion systems such as DC/DC and AC/DC. This role involves board bring-up, testing, and collaboration with the team to explore ways to enhance the power of a 14KW actuator. Responsibilities + Develop and update power electronics boards and circuits for electromechanical drives. + Design and implement power conversion systems such as DC/DC and AC/DC. + Perform board bring-up and testing to ensure functionality. + Collaborate with the team to explore additional methods to increase the power of a 14KW actuator. + Lead the design and development of PCBs, acting as the Subject Matter Expert for Power Electronics technology. Essential Skills + Proficient in power electronics, hardware, and both DC and AC power systems. + Experience in updating and redesigning power electronics circuits and boards. + Strong understanding of PCB design and power systems. + BLDC (Brushless DC Electric Motor) working knowledge. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE). + 10+ years of experience in Power Electronics. + Ability to lead design and development projects. Work Environment Collaborative atmosphere with a focus on teamwork with the hardware team. The role involves acting as the Power Electronics expert within the organization, utilizing cutting-edge technology to achieve project goals. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $85.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
