As a Primary Support Professional (Residential), you'll work in the homes of people receiving residential services, collaborating with the Program Coordinator to ensure the satisfactory implementation of the Individual Support Plan (ISP). You'll provide support services to clients and coordinate their day-to-day activities as outlined within the ISP. Our ideal candidate is passionate about supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, has relevant experience, and strong communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Work in the homes of clients receiving residential services, collaborating with the Program CoordinatorEnsure satisfactory implementation of the Individual Support Plan (ISP)Provide support services to clients and coordinate day-to-day activities as outlined in the ISPTrain staff on clients' medical needs, personal preferences, and complianceEnsure staff knowledge of client medications and potential side effectsOversee daily residential notes, goals, and health trackingReview physical condition of homes to ensure health, safety, and cleanliness standardsEnsure safety kits are present and completeReview medication administration records (MARS) for errors and signaturesComplete event reports in accordance with state guidelinesSchedule staff or cover shifts for absent personnelTrack mileage used in homes to stay within budgetParticipate in the development of positive behavioral support plansEnsure receipts and money counts are maintained for client purchasesCollaborate with Program Coordinator on follow-up tasksEnsure safety drills are conducted according to Individual Safety PlansPerform other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or GED requiredOne year of experience in the field of intellectual/developmental disabilities, or successful completion of Missouri Quality Outcomes training approved by the Division of DD regional office

Additional Qualifications:

Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports and correspondenceEffective communication skills, both verbal and written, using person-centered languageAbility to follow written, oral, or diagrammatic instructionsProblem-solving skills for situations with multiple variablesBasic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)Reliable means of communicationSkills to read, understand written materials, and write clearly and legibly
