Position Description Our laboratory is seeking an energetic and highly motivated Research Assistant or Associate to work in the intersecting disciplines of immunology and neuromodulation. The candidate will be responsible for assisting SetPoints research and discovery team in conducting a broad range of experiments, from in vitro mammalian cell culture to translational clinical research, all with the ultimate goal of delivering a novel treatment intended to improve the lives of patients with chronic inflammatory disease. The selected candidate will work under the guidance of senior research scientists and clinical leadership to execute preclinical work as well as perform laboratory assays on clinical samples during all stages of the therapy development. The candidate will conduct the vast majority of preclinical work from our lab space within the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research in Manhasset, New York Assist senior scientists to conduct experiments Acquire, analyze and present data from cell culture and clinical studies.
