Job Description

We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer for a 3 month contract-to-hire role will be onsite/in the office in (downtown) Denver, CO.  This role will be onsite during normal business hours, Monday-Friday (no remote options). 

As the Principal Engineer for the user management and product catalog application, you will be responsible for the mobility and cloud solutions that customers and business partners use to transact with the organization. 

 

In this role, you will: 

 

Build and deliver world-class product catalog solutions via Hansen’s Sigma Product Catalog using cloud-native backend technologiesArchitect serverless cloud-native backend application in AWS using API Gateway, Lambda, AppSync, DynamoDB, KMS, Secrets manager, Glue, S3, Aurora PostgreSQL, CloudFront, CloudWatch, WAF, Cognito, ACM, VPC, IAM roles-policies-permissions, Athena, SQS, SNS, EC2, Step functions, ElastiCache, Trusted Advisor, SES, Well-Architected tool, CloudTrail, IoT Core, etcPartner and collaborate with other solution architects and development teams in creating frameworks, orchestration, and patterns to help the organization’s speed of delivery while improving operational efficienciesEvaluate and recommend architectural changes to the Software architecture teamArchitecting CI/CD pipelines that can be adopted for serverless cloud deploymentsProvide thought leadership using business communications, active collaboration, and leading cross-functional groups to deliver mobile-first cloud-native mobility applicationsManage Vendor Relationships and resources to build and maintain platformsManage tight deadlines on complex deliverables to meet business needsEscalate issues appropriately with clear and concise root cause analysis and remediation recommendationsPresent project timelines, objectives, and progress to executive management

Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or a related discipline preferred12+ years of progressively related experienceExperience in managing complex system requirementsExperience with both Apple and Android app store processExperience with web technologiesExperience with customer experience/journey designExperience in product design

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Professional experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWSExperience working within software development or Internet-related industriesExperience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloudExperience with microservices architecturesExperience with additional cloud platforms/products like Azure, Apigee, Adobe cloud, Ping Identity, Okta, etc

 

Additional Information

This 3 month contract-to-hire role will be onsite/in the office in (downtown) Denver, CO.  This role will be onsite during normal business hours, Monday-Friday (no remote options).  The conversion salary for this role will be  between $115,500 - $165,000 per year (flexibility is possible based on experience) upon conversion to a full time employee.
