Amazon.com is looking for a talented PRINT PRODUCTION DESIGNER to join our packaging design team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to deliver clean, print-ready artwork in a fast-paced environment, and extend and adapt our design system as needed. This position requires strong organizational skills, print expertise, typesetting skills, color management skills, and acute attention to detail. The ability to undertake multiple projects and communicate with key stakeholders is essential. An online portfolio demonstrating printed production work and mechanical artwork is REQUIRED.

Responsibilities include:
* Adapting and producing artwork
* Editing presentation decks
* Assisting with soft-/hard-proof reviews
* Coordinating with external vendors
* Optimizing images and assets for print
* Retouching and color-correcting images
* Helping build and update guidelines
* Documenting processes and best practices
* Completing multiple tasks on tight deadlines
* Managing press checks (virtually or in-person)
* Helping maintain lab equipment

The VX (Visual Experience) team is a diverse group of creative professionals who support each other, all of whom have been on this team for at least 3 years, some as long as 11 years! We are passionate about packaging and print, as well as sustainability and accessibility.
