Process Architect – Continuous Improvement Specialist
Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a*Process Architect – Continuous Improvement Specialist*to work in our Business Management department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Idaho Falls EROB facility with every other Friday off. The Process Architect (Continuous Improvement Specialist) plays a pivotal role in leading and facilitating improvement efforts across multiple organizations. Their expertise in process improvement methods, change management, and project management is critical in driving efficiency, effectiveness, and quality improvements. You will report to the Director of Business Process Architecture. *Responsibilities include*: * Leads rapid improvement activities in collaboration with departmental and cross functional teams to achieve and sustain successful process improvements across the enterprise. * Acts as a subject matter expert in continuous improvement, providing process improvement guidance and support to complex and multi-organizational projects. * Frequently interacts with internal customers. * Performs work without appreciable direction. Determines methods and approaches to best address the scope of the activity. * Performs work in an ambiguous environment requiring flexibility and the skill to identify areas of improvement, determine the scope of the activity, and use the appropriate methods to address the activity. * Identifies and initiates improvement opportunities by analyzing current state processes and through end-user interactions. * Demonstrates project management/leadership skills and ability to train and facilitate multi-functional teams in problem solving, process improvement, and development of control plans. * Works in collaboration with (senior) leadership to ensure continuous improvements are integrated into the culture. * Trains leaders and associates on continuous improvement tools, such as Lean, DMAIC, and PDSA, that will support their own use of process improvement tools. * Analyzes data through various systems and tools to define problems and to measure the effectiveness of improvements. * Acts as a resource for project management skills by having the ability to 1) manage timelines and deliverables; 2) manage tasks and duties related to process improvement projects; 3) proficiently use Microsoft Office; all to ensure the timely progress of process improvement initiatives. *Minimum Requirements: * PR0300: Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience or Master’s degree and 3 years of experience PR0400: Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience or Master’s degree and 6 years of experience *Job Information: * PR0300-Salary Grade 200 – ($83,412 - $137,592) PR0400 Salary Grade 210 – ($95,928 - $158,232) * You are required to show a demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment * Multi-Level: This is a multi-level posting and you will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on depth and breadth of proven experience and skills. *Benefits and Relocation* * Medical, Dental, Vision, and Flexible Spending Accounts * 401(k) with a 4.2% employer contribution and up to 4.8% match * Paid time off (personal leave) * Employee Education Program (tuition assistance) * Comprehensive Relocation Package * Benefit eligibility subject multiple factors, including employment status and position classification. /INL is a science-based, applied engineering national laboratory dedicated to supporting the U.S. Department of Energy’s mission in nuclear energy research, science, and national defense.
