**Job Objective:**
**The Process Engineer is an established performer that is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production of high-quality products. This role involves analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency.**
**Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:**
· Design and develop manufacturing processes, workflows, and procedures to optimize efficiency and quality.
· Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in existing processes.
· Analyze production data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
· Participate on product and new process development teams, making recommendations of manufacturing feasibility and evaluating expenditures.
· Recommend manufacturing concepts while developing and implementing suitable manufacturing processes.
· Assist with identifying equipment allocations and unique tooling required for new product implementation.
· Responsible for implementing and coordinating revisions and improvements to tooling according to customer or product specifications.
· Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, and Maintenance teams to implement process changes and improvements.
· Provide technical support and guidance to other teams as needed.
· Work on projects and assignments as part of a large work team.
· Perform accurate analyses, conduct research, and draw meaningful conclusions about potential job/work-area impacts.
· Effectively apply functional, process, and procedural or technical knowledge to address business challenges.
· Perform other duties as needed.
**Required Experience and Education:**
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
· 2-4 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Six-Sigma and/or Lean certifications are desirable.
**Competencies:**
· Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.
· Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
· Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
· High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
· Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.

· The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.
· The ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
