Responsibilities

The Procurement Manager – Distribution is responsible for planning, leading and managing the procurement activities to ensure the Goods and Services are purchased from specified suppliers that meet demand requirements, business and quality specifications. Negotiate with suppliers and ensure Goods and Services are delivered upon agreed terms and conditions; seeking maximum value for the company including agreed time, cost and quality.

QUALITY

Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford’s Management System Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvementEnsures that the correct buy to pay channel (matrix) is consistently applied with regard of the use of Purchase Orders and P-Cards

 OPERATIONS

Lead a Team of Procurement Specialists by reviewing PO Management and overall performance of Procure to Pay processes. Strategically partner with organizational stakeholders to source and procure Goods and Services needed in the Geozone and or RegionSupports supplier base rationalization by working closely with Sourcing and Category ManagementLeads and manages purchase orders to acquire goods or services for multiple locations, ranging from Corporate Offices, Super Center facilities to small operating locations, holds self and procurement specialists accountable for meeting milestones Monitors and ensures purchase orders are created accurate and prior to commitment, and good receipt is performed within allotted time frame of good receipt or service deliverMonitors and ensures adherence to Company approved Supplier contracts and agreements, and awarded Purchase Orders presents the greatest benefit both in economic terms and in terms of level of service to achieve competitive advantages adding value to the businessTracks purchase orders lifecycle and update open purchase orders until closed Accountable for the execution, implementation and continuous improvement of the procure-to-pay process Reports supplier non-conformances and follow-up until resolved Ensures to develop and implement the sourcing plan, working closely with Operations and Category Management to refine the sourcing strategy and plans for the Geozone and/or Region for the upcoming yearAssesses sourcing and category opportunities, analysing spend data from multiple sources, structured analysis of supplier/category industry to identify trends, purchasing patterns, competitive position, market conditions and expiring contracts to indicate ways to improve the pricing, quality, service and technologyEnsures to execute sourcing events (RFX’s), negotiates hard savings and/or benefits to lower the overall cost to the organization.Ensures accurate and up to date contracts and supplier records are maintainedEnsures to award contract and agreements to suppliers that comply with company requirementsTracks performance aspects of contracts and supplier development that includes contract inventory, segmentation, risk assessments, contingency planning and validation of right pricingEnsures safe and efficient utilization of company systems, tools and spreadsheets/reportsCreates strategic alliances with suppliers to develop and maintain long-term supply partnershipsWorks with all relevant parties in the consolidation and rationalization of Supplier base

COMMUNICATION

Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate externalSupervisors & Managers should clearly communicate expectations, roles and responsibilities to their reportsMaintains effective level of communication with a broad range of stakeholders in order to plan and prioritize sourcing initiatives to support business requirementsCommunicate timely, clear and concise the impact of sourcing decisions to stakeholders, leading meetings with suppliers for the resolution or mitigation of key/critical issues to ensure alignment with project expectations Maintain contact and network with supplier communityPrepares and communicates shortage and backlog reports, and provide visibility of other potential interruptions to internal customers

Qualifications

REQUIRED

Bachelors’ degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing or equivalent combination of higher degree or related experience Legally authorized to work Minimum 10 years of experience in a sourcing and procurement position Ability to interact in English and potentially other language relevant in local hubIntermediate Excel user and proficient in MS Office suiteMust have experience working with a large vendor base

PREFERRED

Bachelors’ degree in Supply Chain, Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Sourcing Certificate3+ years of experience in a sourcing and procurement, supply chain positionCertified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)8+ years of experience in a Supply Chain positionExperience in working across various functions, businesses and regions

REQUIRED

Advanced knowledge of Procurement and Sourcing principles and techniques: Procure-to-Pay full cycle, e-catalogs, e-ordering and e-invoicingStrategic Sourcing methodology and toolsAnalyse data regarding the cost and availability of materials and services that are needed to complete projects
