Product Manager

Consistently named one of the top D.C. start-ups to watch since 2016, Quorum is software built for public affairs. Thousands of public affairs professionals use Quorum for their work in Congress, all 50 state legislatures, major U.S. cities, and the European Union. Quorum is 100% bootstrapped—meaning we have never raised venture capital funding—and works with organizations like Coca-Cola, the United Nations Foundation, Sierra Club, General Motors, and Lyft.

As a Product Manager, you will be directly involved in helping to conduct user, market research and translate this information into UX and engineering requirements to help build new features and products for our clients. You’ll be responsible for managing features and product lifecycles, conducting meetings and user feedback sessions, implementing and monitoring KPIs and prioritizing and managing our backlog and scrum board.

About You

You have 3+ years experience as a product manager in a B2B software organization.  You are an effective stakeholder manager in cross functional teams and have experience working directly with clients or leads.  You are excited about soliciting feedback from current and potential SaaS users and thinking critically using data from KPIs & metrics to strategize and prioritize features. You have the ability and desire to conduct detailed and comprehensive research and translate that into clear and thorough functional and non-functional requirements and feature specifications.  You have experience managing medium to large sized projects, defining key tasks and influencing teams to stay on schedule.  You are excited about learning the structure of our engineering teams and immersing yourself in day-to-day interaction. You have a CS background or are well versed in code.  You’re excited to pitch in wherever needed, from documentation to market research to bug prioritization to helping crunch numbers while conducting QA tests. You’re a highly-motivated and meticulous self-starter who wants to make valuable contributions to a team from day one. You’re excited about taking initiative and getting your hands dirty to expand your skills and suggesting solutions to challenging problems that require tradeoffs.

About the Engineering Team

We’re a small team that works fast. Iterating and shipping code quickly is in our DNA. Done is better than perfect, but we do our best to build systems that let us move quickly without breaking too many things. We support many different products but internally think of them as one system with a single unified codebase. Our goal is to build centralized systems that handle the hard stuff for multiple features and products. We like to roll up our sleeves to get the job done and work hard and sometimes long hours to get the job done well. We are in the office most days and enjoy spending time together in the office and after hours!

What You’ll Do
