Ready to shape the future of science and global health? ATCC, a pioneer in biomaterials manufacturing, is seeking a Product Manager with Cell Biology background to work a hybrid schedule.  This Product Manager will provide lifecycle product management of ATCC's portfolio consisting of primary cells, iPSCs, immortalized cell lines, and associated media and serve as both a business and technical expert.  This is a flexible hybrid position based either in Gaithersburg, MD or Manassas, VA.  In office requirement of either 1 - 2 days per week or 1 week per month.  Apply today for immediate consideration.   

 

Experience in Product Management and a background in Cell Biology or relative field (Cancer Biology, Cell Biology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or Toxicology) required.

Responsibilities Market Research and Product Roadmap Development: Conduct interviews, surveys, and voice-of-market analysis to formulate optimal product roadmaps and inform new launches. Strategic Planning and Portfolio Management: Develop and maintain a strategic plan, executing growth strategies and regularly assessing the product portfolio for competitiveness. Business Opportunity Assessment: Conduct research to assess business opportunities, leading cross-functional teams through the new product introduction process. Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Measure and report on product line performance, optimizing the marketing mix and ensuring continual improvement of the product portfolio.  Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 8 or more years’ experience or equivalent.BS/MS/PhD in a scientific field (Cancer Biology, Cell Biology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or Toxicology) highly preferred.Minimum of 5 years of technical, marketing or product management experience in a relevant industry preferred (pharmaceuticals, research products, clinical lab, etc.).Supervisory experience preferred.  Proven track record of successfully managing product portfolios and leading new product introductions. Experience in conducting market research, customer surveys, and competitive analysis. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies.  Benefits
