Product Strategy Analyst

Commercial Distribution, a division of AAR, provides aftermarket services to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in the areas of third-party logistics, distribution, and inventory management.

SUMMARY: The Product Strategy Analyst will support the Vice President General Manager in business development and cross-functional data projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review business development opportunities and make recommendations to senior leadership on future actions.Perform analysis of new opportunities to assess historical sales data and develop a future sale forecast.Build financial models and present to senior leadership.Manage cross-functional projects.Implement and train extended team on new data tools.Manage the implementation and support of the forecasting tool (PTC).Design BI dashboards in Domo to present current business metrics and KPIs to senior leadership, product line teams, and OEM partners.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.3 years’ experience in product management, or business analytics required.Prior experience in the aviation industry a plus but not required.
