The Production Lead performs a variety of job duties including receiving and handling the raw materials, adding value through a variety of proprietary processes, to packaging the final product based on business needs.
This role supports the shift supervisor in production activities to include but not limited to production requirements, training, reviewing production practices to ensure conformity and compliance with all company practices, policies, and procedures.
The Production Lead will act as backup supervisor by providing coverage and assuming shift responsibilities for supervisory absences when needed.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 5pm - 9am
Wage: $30.16/hr plus shift differential
Required Qualifications & Experiences:
18 years or older6+ months of manufacturing experience Basic computer skillsAbility to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions, and possess basic mathematical skillsEnsures a safe working environmentStrong time management skillsAbility to recognize and easily adapt to changePreferred Qualifications & Experiences:
5+ years of experience in manufacturingBasic knowledge of CIP systemsExperience with ERP systems such as JDEKnowledge of processing equipmentStrong problem solving skills·Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and ExcelA solid record of good attendance and job performanceExcellent verbal communication skillsAbility to be flexible in work performed and scheduleSelf-Reliant and able to accurately work under limited supervisionAble to work in a fast-paced environmentWork in cold and/or hot temperatures throughout the dayPhysical Requirements for production positions regularly include:
Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movementsPerforming duties while wearing personal protective equipmentWorking across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periodsShift schedules that include days, nights, and weekends, some holidays and periodic overtimeApplicants must successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check.
