The Office of Diversity amp Inclusion ODI provides expertise and leadership at the University of Maryland around equity diversity and inclusion work The following units are within ODI ADA 504 Compliance Bias Incident amp Support Services BISS Diversity Training amp Education LGBTQ Equity Center Nyumburu Cultural Center Office of Civil Rights amp Sexual Misconduct Office of Multi ethnic Student Education OMSE and TerrapinSTRONGThe LGBTQ Equity Center serves LGBTQ students faculty and staff The center is committed to prioritizing minoritized voices in LGBTQ communitiesThe program manager will plan and execute the centers external and internal community building programsevents and will ensure that programs are intersectional and inclusive of minoritized LGBTQ identities across race gender sexuality ability and other identities This position will hire train and supervise graduate and undergraduate students The program manager will provide mentorship to student leaders who utilize the center for group meetings and campus initiatives The position will collaborate with campus partners to host LGBTQ related programming in the center and across campus The program manager will develop and manage the offices outreach and communications efforts to increase awareness of and engagement with the centers programs events and mission This position will serve as a representative for ODI and LGBTQ Equity Center on committees at meetings and events This position reports to the associate director
