We are currently seeking a Project Architect to join our Buildings - Architectural & Structural Team at our office in Portland, ME; Colonie, NY; or to work remotely from home living within the Philadelphia metro area.

The Project Architect has broad knowledge of fundamentals in specialty areas and knowledge of principles and practices in related specialties The professional in this role plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates detailed phases of complex projects.  

Involves exploration of subject area, definition of scope, selection of items for investigation and development of novel concepts and methodsEstimates fees, determine scope of work and prepares proposals and contracts on the most complex projectsDevelops work plans to coincide milestones of a project and revisions when work plans need to be addressedServes as the primary liaison content with clients to complete projects on schedule within budget and with maximum client satisfactionInteracts with a project team and client to communicate the results of analysis and describe design conceptsActively manages client budgets, schedules and programsPossesses broad knowledge of fundamentals in specialty areas and good knowledge of principles and practices in related specialtiesFamiliar with the company’s and client’s methods, standards, practices and proceduresMay assist or involved in the technical scope proposal developmentCompletes field assignments, when appropriateMay complete sections of permitsLeads and mentors more junior Architects

REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Architecture required, Master’s degree preferredRegistered Architect license requiredLEED accreditation preferredMinimum 8 years' professional experience required Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills requiredStrong ability to work and lead in a team environment Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision requiredFamiliar with QA/QC procedures and understands basic business practices and laws related to architecture Writing, graphic, and verbal presentation skills are required, as are basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Knowledge of Revit and industry standard rendering software required CULTURE/EEO STATEMENT
