As a part of the FBM team, we can build, replenish, & modernize this crucial national asset with today’s tools & technology to benefit the world, the nation, our states, and our communities\! **Learn about the Trident II D5 Fleet Ballistic Missile\.** - - - **In this role, as a Project Engineer, you will have the following daily key responsibilities:** • Perform the duties of Risk and Opportunity Management Board \(ROMB\) Manager for ER Mission Operations\. • Be an active participant in the Comprehensive Assessment Program \(CAP\)\. • Participate in Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions\. • Review and provide input to requirements for ER Mission Operations\. • Support policy and process documentation reviews\. • Assist in the development of documentation and mitigations to real and potential issues that could impact the mission\. - - - **Although this position does support some teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Cape Canaveral, FL , and be expected to work in the office as needed** **Basic Qualifications:** **To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:** • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, • 1\+ years of professional experience, • You will need to be a US Citizen, andbe able to **obtain** and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information\.
