Project Engineering Leader

Job Description:

As a Project Engineering Leader, you will be responsible for managing large strategic projects, ensuring smooth project design and execution. You will lead and coordinate multiple functions, manage and mitigate risks, costs, and schedules, and communicate project progress, issues, and solutions to management and stakeholders.

This position involves projects related to R&D and GMP labs, specifically focusing on the adaptation of existing laboratories and the addition of new equipment. You will work closely with SMEs and manage project execution, ensuring the delivery of medium to high complexity engineering packages.

Your Responsibilities:

Manage projects in EPCMV (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Management, and Validation) models. Provide and maintain excellence in design, construction methods, and execution that align with the company's safety and sustainability goals. Manage quality, cost, and planning for all engineering project activities. Serve as the primary point of contact for management, business clients, external engineering companies, and technical teams. Handle project governance, budget control, and ensure compliance with PMO requirements. Consolidate and review specifications, such as URS and Technical Specifications.

About You:

Education Level: Master’s degree in Engineering. Experience: Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in investment projects within the infrastructure/building field, with in-depth technical experience in a highly regulated environment. Competencies: Experience with EPC and EPCM contracting models. Broad knowledge of HVAC systems. Ability to manage a matrix of reporting lines and across functional areas. Strong technical, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to apply previous learning and ideas to new situations, developing creative solutions to manage risks to a reasonably practicable level. Full professional proficiency in French is required; English proficiency is a plus.
