Project Manager

Job Title: Project Manager

Job Description: Are you ready to take your project management skills to the next level? As a Project Manager at Intel in Santa Clara, you'll be at the heart of groundbreaking projects, driving innovation and excellence. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring project safety, managing controls and procedures, and implementing risk mitigation processes. Your expertise will be crucial in creating and executing change items, verifying financial forecasts, and supporting subcontracting strategies. You'll enforce contract aspects, prepare draft contracts, agreements, and purchase orders, and ensure trade contractors' compliance. Your role will also involve developing project estimates, coordinating design efforts, and preparing GMP. You'll keep projects on track with monthly schedule updates, assist in constructability reviews, and develop networking strategies based on local market insights. You'll train and manage direct reports, maintain equipment inventory, and collaborate closely with onsite teams for material and equipment planning.

Responsibilities:

Safety First:Assist in the preparation and administration of the project safety plan.Project Controls:Manage project controls and procedures, and implement risk mitigation processes.Financial Oversight:Create and follow through on potential change items and verify project financial forecasts.Subcontracting Strategy:Support subcontracting strategy, scope writing, and deliverables to ensure integrity of the buyout process.Contract Management:Implement and enforce all contract aspects; prepare draft contracts, agreements, and purchase orders.Compliance Tracking:Track and obtain trade contractors’ compliance with insurance and bonds.Estimate Development:Support project estimate development, design coordination efforts, and GMP preparation.Schedule Updates:Prepare monthly schedule updates, including schedule analysis and narratives.Constructability Reviews:Assist in constructability and coordination reviews.Networking Strategy:Develop an understanding of local market areas to assist in networking strategy creation.Team Leadership:Train and manage workload and performance of direct reports.Positive Work Environment:Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.Material Planning:Work closely with onsite equipment planner and field crew for material and equipment planning and projections.Safety Training:Schedule and implement safety training for all workers.Attendance Monitoring:Monitor team attendance and maintain records.PPE Management:Control inventory and distribution of PPE, and schedule fittings for hazard gear.Equipment Maintenance:Monitor and maintain all equipment including labeling, inventory, rentals, maintenance, and inspections.

Work Environment:Join us onsite at Intel in Santa Clara, where you'll work closely with the onsite equipment planner and field crew for material and equipment planning, and collaborate with field and labor crew on project planning and projections. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $77.00/hr.
