Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Job Description

The Construction Project Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, with a particular focus on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems. This role requires a deep understanding of MEP systems, project management principles, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to project plans.Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of MEP systems.Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to MEP systems during construction.Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring clarity and accountability.Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring cost-effective solutions.Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.Identify and mitigate potential cost overruns.Implement quality control measures to ensure high standards of workmanship.Conduct inspections and audits to verify compliance with project specifications.Address any deficiencies promptly and effectively.Essential SkillsMechanical system knowledgeProject management experienceElectrical system knowledgeConstruction experiencePlumbing system knowledgeCommercial Construction MEP PM experienceExperience with electrical wiringExperience with commercial construction projectsAdditional Skills & QualificationsOSHA 10 certification5+ years of MEP Commercial Construction Project Management experienceExperience with commercial electrical systemsExperience with commercial plumbing systemsWork Environment

The work environment includes both office settings and regular site visits. The schedule consists of four 10-hour days, allowing for being home every night. The role includes the use of a company vehicle.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
