Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role requires a professional who can effectively contribute to all phases of the architectural design process, particularly in healthcare projects. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, a creative mindset, and the ability to collaborate within an energetic team environment.

ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the project design team and client team in each phase of the project delivery process.Contribute to all aspects and phases of the architectural design process, including code analysis and research.Assist in creating project schedules and budgets.Attend and lead project meetings.Collaborate with a wide range of project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and design team consultants.Maintain and organize project files.Travel to and from project and client meetings as necessary.Essential Skills5-10 years’ experience in the architecture industry with relevant built work experience.Bachelor’s degree in architecture or Master of Architecture (accredited degree program required).Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and mentor others.Strong technical project detailing and documentation skills.Proficiency in documenting all phases of the design process.Excellent graphic and verbal communication skills.Exceptional client service orientation and relationship-building skills.Strong proficiency in Revit.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with healthcare projects will be considered a plus.Knowledge of Enscape and Adobe suite preferred.Knowledge of Newforma project management platform preferred.Solid MS Office abilities.Work Environment

This position is based out of our Rockville, Maryland office location for local candidates. The position will be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement (after six months of employment) with the expectation that 3 days per week will be spent working in the office, at a client site, or at off-site locations for company-sponsored events as needed. Initially, employees are expected to be in the office 5 days a week for the first 6 months. The majority of our 50+ person firm is working remotely, with about 6-8 employees coming into the office frequently. We build project teams for each job, allowing candidates to work on projects from design to completion and foster relationships with clients. Our office space, moved into in 2021, is a Class A space with free parking. We specialize in healthcare projects, providing a stable and continually upgrading work environment. Employees are also offered bi-annual bonuses based on the firm's profitability.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr.
