Project Manager

This position is responsible for assisting in the operation of department. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties throughout the facility as assigned and or as necessary.

Assisting Account Managers with Project Estimating, scope development and fundamental design for turnkey projects. Development of Sub-Contractor scope of work documentation. Manage the development of Hardware and Software Design Submittals, Installation drawings, Sequence of Operations and Commissioning and/or Validation Documentation. Materials Specification, Ordering, Tracking and Installation support. Manage and schedule project Software development, installation and commissioning. Manage and schedule field technician’s startup and commissioning efforts. Maintain up-to-date As-Built documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate final Turnover Package to Owner to include, Design documentations, System Backup, Recover and General Use Training, Warranty and Service Department turnover. Responsible for all Project Related and Customer Required Documentation, including at a minimum; Submittals, RFI’s, Schedule, Safety Compliance, Commissioning and/or Validation. Oversee the performance of engineers and subcontractors ensuring that all work is completed on schedule and to specification. Oversee/Manage project closeout to completion. Managing contracts and sub-contracts. Responsibility for Monthly Invoicing and Project Forecasting. Track, identify and control construction costs against budget to avoid cost overruns. Oversee monthly and quarterly assessments and forecasts of project financial performance against budget, financial and operational goals. Support a performance-based culture, both team and individual, to assure continuous improvement and alignment with enterprise vision, mission, and objectives. Drive employee engagement, training, and development in the key areas of safety, quality, and productivity. Provide direct oversight for the field team including supervisors and technicians. Develop and manage the department budget. Ensure regulatory compliance across a range of federal, state, and local agencies. Ensure that all quality and safety standards, specifications and policies are met, drive continuous improvements, and collaborate with the team to drive efficiencies. Support a culture based on open/honest dialogue and involvement with all team members that demonstrates the value of their input and engagement in improving performance. Drive a culture of high performance and accountability in employee and site safety as well as other aspects of the business.
