The job:

 

Reporting to the Head of Operations, as a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects across Operations, from initiation to completion, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints. Your role is critical in coordinating resources, communication, and stakeholders to ensure projects meet organizational goals and objectives. As the Project Manager for Operations, you will play a pivotal role in delivering successful projects that drive the organization's success. Your ability to collaborate, lead, and adapt to changing circumstances will be instrumental in achieving project objectives and meeting stakeholder expectations.

 

What you will do:

Project Planning and Initiation:

Document all project opportunities identified across Operations Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to meet project objectives. Collaborate with Transformation Team to conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential project challenges and mitigation strategies. Secure necessary approvals and signoffs before project initiation.

Project Execution:

Manage project teams, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress to ensure adherence to the project plan. Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to facilitate smooth project execution. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources, making adjustments as necessary to keep the project on track. Resolve issues, conflicts, and obstacles that may arise during project execution. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and best practices.

Budget and Resource Management:

Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective project delivery. Optimize resource allocation and utilization to maximize productivity and efficiency. Procure and manage external resources or vendors when necessary.

Risk Management:

Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies. Monitor and evaluate project risks throughout the project lifecycle, taking proactive measures to mitigate and resolve issues.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure project deliverables meet high-quality standards and fulfill user requirements. Implement quality assurance processes and conduct regular reviews to validate project outcomes.

Stakeholder Communication:

Establish and maintain effective communication channels with project stakeholders. Provide regular updates and progress reports to stakeholders, project sponsors, and management.

Change Management:

Manage changes to project scope, timelines, and resources, ensuring alignment with business needs and project goals. Evaluate and communicate the impact of changes to relevant stakeholders.

Project Closure and Evaluation:

Conduct project evaluations and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement. Ensure all project documentation is complete and archived appropriately. Celebrate project success and acknowledge the contributions of project team members.

 

 

What you will need:

 

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a related role, with a track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to completion.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.Proficiency in project management tools and software.Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and best practices.Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.Strong understanding of budget management and financial analysis.
