**Looking for an opportunity to manage innovative CapEx projects for an industry-leading biotech company?** TAI Engineering has an immediate need for a Project Engineer to develop the scope, schedule and budget of facility, utility and equipment upgrade projects. **Here's a taste of what you'll be doing:** + Managing all aspects and resources of multiple capital projects from inception through completion, developing detailed objectives and standards to meet all project deadlines & deliverables, and ensuring that all budgetary guidelines are met. + Managing capital appropriation for assigned projects, preparing cost/benefit analysis to justify and support project approvals, and preparing detailed written reports & deliver presentations outlining the status of projects. + Working collaboratively with the Facilities, Engineering, and Maintenance departments to provide technical support in the acquisition, installation, operation, maintenance, and improvement of process equipment and utilities. + Ensuring that departmental and facility objectives are met in the areas such as Safety, Quality, Sanitation and Overall Equipment Effectiveness. + Developing and implementing process improvement projects to increase productivity, reliability, sustainability, and cost reduction + Responsible for having an awareness of and ability to recognize technical problems. + Prepares and monitors project budgets and schedules for trends/compliance to budget and prepare periodic reports. + Coordinate reviews and checking of engineering deliverables. + Coordinate the efforts of engineering support groups and external resources such as vendors, consultants and contractors. + Conduct project meetings and effective communications with user group and project stake holders. + Define project scope and develop preliminary engineering drawings such as layouts, P&IDs and PFDs. **You'll be a perfect fit if you have:** + Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, chemical or electrical preferred) + At least three years experience managing projects within the pharmaceutical/biotech/life sciences industries. + Five years of experience in a Project Management capacity. **Compensation and benefits offering:** + Pay: $115k - $150k a year (based on experience) + Annual Profit Sharing Bonus (variable depending on firm’s performance, employee performance, and tenure). + PTO and paid holidays. + Health benefits - Employee through family level coverage for medical, dental, and vision insurances.
