What You’ll Be Doing

 

Cadmus Group’s Strategy and Transformation Team is looking for a senior Project Manager/Business Process Consultant to work alongside senior team members and clients to provide support in various areas including management, strategy, and operations. You will work with senior leadership on developing strategic plans, process design improvements, portfolio and program management, governance, and monitoring and reporting of key performance metrics. You will work on creating an environment of collaboration across stakeholder groups and facilitate cross-functional working sessions. The objective of your work is to create an optimized process and process environment which will improve the overall function(s) of our client’s working environment.

Responsibilities Support strategic and organizational planning and roadmap development as it relates to new ITD initiatives (e.g. present state assessment, alignment, implementation)Lead efforts to maturing the organization from current state to desired future state through business process mapping and improvement (e.g. annual planning, budget planning, etc.)Manage project deliverables status, reporting and alignment with contract deliverablesWork collaboratively and manage team members to ensure successful alignment of tasks with deliverablesLead efforts related to the workforce planning and human capital strategy and implementationSupport leadership development, workforce development and training initiativesFacilitate strategic sessionsLead ITD balanced scorecard creation and adoption using industry benchmarking and program metricsSupport business program and project management efforts Qualifications Bachelor’s degreeMinimum ten years of experienceA self-starter with an exceptionally strong work ethic, curiosity and driveA growth mindset with a willingness to build subject matter expertise in key focus areas and a desire to share what you knowAn eagerness to engage our communities with writing, speaking and engagement on topics of strategic importanceExceptional communication skills, both verbal and written; excellent active listening skillsAbility to establish and maintain strong relationshipsDesire to work primarily with federal government clientsExcellent writing skillsOrganized with natural agility to move seamlessly from strategic tasks (developing strategic plans, briefing client executives on recommendations) to tactical tasks (preparing PowerPoint briefings, recording meeting outcomes) as neededExperience with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle; proven experience managing multiple projectsMust be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through othersAdvanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel), MS Project,Visio and a gift for creating briefings and documents that tell a compelling, relevant and data-driven storyCandidates will be required to obtain a Public Trust, Suitability or a Security Clearance, depending on contract - US Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in IT and technology deployment and/or HR or workforce development programsExperience in professional services firms and/or governmentChange management, Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or facilitation certifications

The minimum starting salary for this position is $114K. The actual salary may be higher and will be determined by several factors, including relevant work experience, education, skills, and market competitiveness.
