Amyx is seeking to hire a Proposal Manager for our HQ Staff. This position is responsible for managing large and complex proposals as part of a high performing Proposal Division.

Responsibilities

Manages the proposals from start to finish. This involves leading and coordinating the proposal, preparing high quality, complex, compelling, and compliant volumes and coordinating/directing inputs according to solicitation requirements.  Works under tight deadlines and directs tasks required to complete proposals, such as writing, editing, and other efforts associated with the process. Proposal Manager positions are highly visible and they communicate frequently with corporate executives.

2-5 years of fulltime experience as a Proposal Manager in Federal Contracts Proposal DevelopmentMust have the ability to independently manage proposalsMust have experience managing all color team phasesMust have a focus on developing and submitting superior quality, compelling, and compliant proposalsMust work well with others and work well as a teamMust be flexible in adapting to Amyx’s processes, policies, and professional cultureMust have a professional, mature and respectful leadership style and set the example to the large groups of employees who contribute to proposal developmentMust possess the drive and skillset to comprehensively read, review, format, and edit large proposalsAbility to manage complex Full & Open proposals and IDIQsAbility to multi-task – managing multiple active proposals at any given timeExperience working with Adobe Pro DC, Microsoft Office, TEAMS, SharePoint, and other tools

 

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

2-5 years of experience managing proposals for Full & Open federal contractsEnglish, Journalism, Business (or equivalent) majorTraining in Shipley Proposal DevelopmentAbility to effectively balance between being flexible and following a standardized process
