We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team at Inova Health Fairfax, specifically focusing on the inpatient adult population. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric care, possess excellent clinical skills, and be committed to delivering high-quality mental health services.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evaluations of inpatient adults. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications as appropriate. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health issues and treatment options. Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to the overall clinical care of patients.

Qualifications:

Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing. Current and unrestricted PMHNP license in the state of Virginia. Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Experience working with inpatient adult populations preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
