PAY: $20.50/hour + $1,500 Sign & Stay Bonus

WORK SCHEDULE: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Primarily responsible for providing general clerical support to the assigned production department(s). Performs all work in compliance with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.

     

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:                              

Prepare purchase requisitionsGenerate Purchase Order numbers for each requisitionMonitor and track purchase ordersObtain price quotes (when necessary)Perform clerical responsibilities related to order processing, ensuring timely order and receipt of supplies, equipment and materialsEnsure supplies are received and routed to the proper location within the facilityMaintain a positive working relationship with all managers, supervisors, employees, and vendorsWork with vendors as necessary on status of back ordersPrepare purchasing reports, verifying accuracyAssist with monthly inventoryPerform other duties and responsibilities as required

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not requiredBasic math skills and computer skills

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivateAbility to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hoursSound work ethic, honesty and moral character

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:

Follow departmental and company safety policies and programsMust wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times in areas where required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

May work in wet and cold (45ºF, 4ºC) or hot and dusty (95ºF, 35ºC) environmentWill be exposed to noise of > 85 decibels, CO2 and moving production equipmentAbility to lift 10 lbsAbility to frequently kneel, crawl, stoop, and bendWork around raw, live animal odors
