Monadelphous have recently been awarded a major construction project for a Lithium plant in the SW of WA. This multi-disciplinary project involving also involving tank and piping fabrication works and electrical supply, valued at over $160M, offers a long-term opportunity as you play an essential role contributing to the project’s success. From the initial project startup to on-site construction you will be involved in all aspects of project delivery.

We are seeking a highly skilled QA/QCSMP Inspector to join our team and contribute to the success of these exciting resources projects.

The role of QA/QC SMP Inspector will see you reporting to the Quality Lead and responsible for the preparation and implementation of the project’s quality management policy, system and strategies within the project; providing technical advice and assistance to the project team as well as liaising with clients in relation to quality requirements. 

This role is DIDO on a 2:1 roster to Greenbushes.

Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections and quality control checks on rotating equipment including pumps, turbines, compressors, and other related machinery to ensure compliance with industry standards, specifications, and customer requirements.Test electrical assemblies and wiring for proper connections on equipmentEnsure accurate standards, procedures and specifications are in place for the maintenance of the rotating equipment assetsMaintain accurate rotating equipment records, including protocols and equipment historyIssue, follow up and close out of Non-Conformance Reports and Field DiscrepanciesMaintain comprehensive inspection records and reports, including test results, measurements, and findings.Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to provide technical expertise and support during the inspection process.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar QA/QC SMP Inspector position within the resources sectorStrong knowledge of the AS/NZS ISO 9001 quality systems and processes Strong knowledge of SMP equipment within quality inspection rolesSound working knowledge of Australian standards and codesRelevant qualifications and field experienceDemonstrated ability in computer skills including MS Word and MS Excel A strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment Valid Australian Driver’s Licence Proof of right to work in Australia
