Contract to hirePay Rate: $23-26/hr
Responsibilities: Collaborate with management, and is accountable for all processes, policies, and procedures. Conduct GMP walk-throughs and audits to maintain compliance standards. Verify effectiveness of CCPs, allergen controls, supplier controls, process controls, and sanitation protocols. Conduct pre-operational inspections to monitor food safety and quality. Address and identify CAPA's throughout process. Perform sensory tests on baked goods to ensure they meet quality standards Verify correct batter weights, product temperatures, packaging, and labeling on a regular basis. Complete validation on calibration of equipment, such as metal detectors, scales, and thermometers used in production. Maintain sanitation standards through clean area checks and monitor practices to prevent contamination. Complete accurate documentation, including filing, calibration and validation of measuring equipment. Ensure COAs are in compliance with specifications.
Qualifications
Bachelor's of Science or related area of study, and 1+ years of quality assurance experience in a food manufacturing environment, or High School Diploma/GED and 2+ years working in a food manufacturing environment, or Industry experience following GMP standards working with food safety.INDBH
