Position Summary

Quality Plus Assistant Managers are responsible assisting in the overall operation of the Quality Plus location. Assistant Managers will provide excellent customer service at all times, including greeting all customers with a friendly and helpful attitude and helping the store manager maintain Quality Plus standards.

 

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive and helpful attitude towards customers, coworkers, and vendorsMonitor the drive-thru window, ring up sales, and give back correct changePerform shift duties as assigned by the store manager, including but not limited to, stocking and organizing shelves, removing trash as necessary, cleaning restrooms, and organizing store areaMaintaining cleanliness inside and outside of the property including sales room, bathrooms, vending areas, pumps, concrete pads, etc.Operate a point-of-sale (POS), cash register, scanner, and other electronics provided in order to complete job duties as accurately and efficiently as possibleApply coupons to purchases when provided and promote loyalty programObey all state and federal regulations related to the sale of age-restricted merchandiseAdhere to company policies, procedures, and core ideology

Requirements

Basic mathematical, reading and writing skills required.Ability to perform repetitive work accuratelyStrict attention to detailStrong verbal communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsMust be able to lift up to 40 lbs. periodicallyMust be able to sit, stand, walk, and climb steps for extended lengths of timeAbility to enter and work in a cooler at a temperature of 32 degrees up to 15 minutes at a timeConvenience store management experience is a plus
