Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Acts as a user / client / site construction managers / manufacturer point of contact. Oversees timing, materials supply levels, punch lists, and completions, on a plant and site levels Coordinates inventory and materials documentation within the modular scope to ensure timely completion at plant level.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Leads and promotes healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy. Works with Customer Completion Specialists (CCS), data keepers, reviewers, and inspectors of multiple project-specific interface tasks to track project progress from manufacturing to apartments at site. Monitors inspection of the galvanization process, including all stages from start to finish to ensure seamless  process stages flow Assesses design and manufacturing work issues for “one touch” flow of work, identifies areas for upgrades for "in-plant" manufacturing through potential "on-site" repair over time. Oversees new product prototyping by conducting a joint review by plant and product teams to ensure the final "plant and site" punch lists are well-matched and -coordinated’ expedites resolution of proper change management for best quality and compliance with financial parameters according to the “User” Customer and Owner. Documents material needs to avoid potential shortages; identifies 'ready to ship' modules. Compiles and distributes punch lists of acceptable 'ready to ship' modules versus modules that may not be ready due to material shortages, workflow, or incomplete installation. Monitor punch list items completion for Final User.  Participates and leads process and product improvement meetings to connect process points to quantify / qualify total costs to discuss and present to Controllers.Assists with project planning for approval by management to ensure production synergy across sites and plants.Immense communication and collaboration with the plants, operators, and sites regarding the status of modules shipping on a project-to-project basis. This includes clear communication with Plant Team Members to CCS and through to Site Project Supervisors.Generates and analyzes reports for potential process changes to ensure quality within budgetary requirements. financial solution for change. Performs other duties as they might be assigned.Regular and predictable, full-time, on-site attendance during scheduled hours. Travel of up to 40% is required - to and from staging and new community sites.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in building science/construction management or design management or equivalent experience in manufacturing and site construction7-10 year Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or on-site Commercial Construction Management experience

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

Solid understanding of the construction industryWorking knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall, to understand the broader context of the project and align efforts with project goals.Basic knowledge of construction methods, terminology, and industry regulations to grasp project requirements and communicate with team members, and ensure regulatory complianceProficiency in relevant software and technologies to streamline work processes and enhance project coordinationProficiency computer skills in Microsoft Office Strong leadership and collaboration skillsStrong analytical skills Strong written and verbal communication skillsUnderstanding of timing, shipping, or supply materials levels per building, plant, and site, with the organization of operational supply teams in all areas.
