Quality & Compliance Engineer

Summary: Seeking an experienced Quality & Compliance Engineer to lead major engineering projects, make authoritative technical decisions, and develop innovative engineering principles.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent education/experience

13+ years of experience in a specific technical discipline or 15+ years in multiple engineering disciplines with a Bachelor's degree

Experience credit for advanced degrees limited to 2 years for Masters and 4 years for PhD

Required experience in fatigue and damage tolerance on airframe metallic structures

Strong background in Classic Stress Analysis, Splice Analysis, Fatigue Spectrum Development/Generation, Kt evaluation, Fatigue Analysis, Damage Tolerance Analysis

Proficiency with SmarTeam & Catia V5 for stress analysis and drawing release

Preferred Skills:

Experience with GAC F&DT methods and tools

Familiarity with Patran/Nastran, Abaqus, StressCheck

Knowledge of VBA & Python programming languages

Testing experience including test result correlation to analysis and failure root cause identification

Responsibilities:

Manage complex engineering projects within established parameters

Provide technical decisions and recommendations with significant impact on extensive engineering activities

Apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts using broad expertise or specialized knowledge

Lead the development of innovative principles and ideas

Develop standards and guides for diverse engineering activities

Plan investigations for broad areas of importance where precedents are lacking

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
