Element has an opportunity for an experienced Quality Coordinator to join our team of quality professionals. You are an essential member of the quality team and will assist to ensure that the Element Quality Management System (QMS) is managed/maintained. The successful candidate will have experience of the accreditation requirements associated with accreditation bodies.

 

The Quality Coordinator is responsible for ensuring compliance with new and existing quality standards and regulations, implementing quality management systems actions, and contributing to the development of company policies and procedures. The Quality Coordinator provides quality support to the laboratory.

Responsibilities Ensuring compliance with current regulationsMonitoring and reporting on all quality activities, processes, and proceduresDeveloping internal auditing tools, conducting internal audits and reportsImplementing quality improvement plans for customer complaints and corrective actionPerform/manage regular reviews (proficiency testing and method audits) to ensure employees complywith the quality policiesAssisting with the development of laboratories policies, processes, and proceduresProviding departments with quality planning and supportConducting or assisting with regulatory and quality training sessionsPreparing and maintaining quality management documentationMonitor, schedule, and manage calibration equipment activities at the site levelPrepare monthly reports including, but not limited to KPi First Time Right (FTR), incidents (CAPA and customer complaints), audits, etc.Assisting the Quality Manager in other duties, as assignedThis position reports directly to the Quality Director, and dotted line (quality support) to the General Manager at the site level

 

Skills / Qualifications Degree in a related field preferredExperience with ISO 17025 (or ISO 9001) and Quality System rules, regulations, including planning and implementation Minimum 2 years of experience working with quality management systemsProficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS)Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skillsExcellent decision-making and problem-solving skillsStrong organizational skills
